THE OGRE AND THE WEAVER By Guerreira Xue
…ABOUT THE BOOK
… As far as I know, these stories and tales are true journeys into the imaginary of our heads, and they cross the lines between curves and straight lines, between right and wrong, and ultimately everything is a life lesson, and each person interprets it their own way.
The book deals with current affairs, in a differentiated style aimed at a young public. And starting from old concepts, the tales are developed in ways that stimulate thinking, in the figure of a 10-year-old boy who doesn’t get tired of questioning.
The narrative’s proposal is also to recover the parent-child relationship in the family environment, in the figure of the boy who finds a way to have her mother at his side at bedtime.
There are different narratives in the book, which have in common the centrality of life in different environments and contexts.
